Clove Valley Community Farm

Highlands, NY

Opportunities: Plant sales, internship, events, volunteering

Internship and Wwoofing Description

Exchange housing, food, and a unique educational experience for ~20 hrs a week on the farm.   Stipend available with full-season (April/May-Sept/October) commitment.  Work sessions include preparation of community meals,  group meetings and farm-education sessions, and various field-trips to our partner farms.  Schedule includes plenty of time for other part-time work and/or personal pursuits, and there are always extra work opportunities presenting themselves.

Interns will experience all aspects of running a very productive, no-till & hand-scale market garden & nursery.  You’ll be helping grow seedings, veggies, herbs, and flowers for the Woodstock Farm Market, our farm family, and our local friends and neighbors.  Work is incredibly varied, we have fun!

You’ll be welcomed into our Clove Valley family and exposed to a much wider community of amazing farmers and friends in the Hudson Valley.  Many former interns have chosen to stay in the area and are now good friends!

Clove Valley’s internship program places a high priority on personal development and community-building, our activities are often geared toward holistic health of the soil, our farm family, and the greater community.
